5 Nov 2020, still counting

Status: Sheltering in place, we have plenty of food and supplies.

We’ve installed a new Air Conditioner and there is a terrible amount of work to be accomplished. The highest priority is insulate the ducts against moisture and clean up the living room. I have to run a new duct to the living room and bedroom to give the air handler more flow. There’s a 8″ and a 10″ trunk which is 600CFM, we need one more 8″ duct from the plenum to make 800CFM.

Need to sort the church audio stuff and get it back into storage. (out of the living room and Bedroom) Then get the stuff I moved from my cave out of the living room.

Tell me, how many nights have you almost missed the sunset? How many arguments have you almost won? How many mistakes have you almost made? How many cities have you almost flown to? How many snapshots have you almost taken?

Chances are, you don’t remember. No-one does

Narrative: Spent most of the day communicating with our sponsored child and Child Fund International.

Feelings: As Christians we are compelled to look after the Widows and the poor. Just how we do that in this climate when there is so much energy fighting the democracy I don’t know.

We’re sponsoring a child through Christian Children’s Fund AKA Child Fund. It has been a long road of trying to fix the poor communication between us and our sponsored child. We write letters with no knowledge if they ever get to the child. The child writes a letter every month and we don’t get them for a year at a time.
