2 Feb 2021, Stimulus Package?

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 is a proposed $2.3 trillion spending bill that combines $900 billion in stimulus relief for the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States with a $1.4 trillion omnibus spending bill for the 2021 federal fiscal year and prevents a government shutdown. If signed into law, the bill would be one the largest spending measures ever passed by Congress, provide slightly more than the $2.2 trillion CARES Act that was passed in March 2020, and the first bill to address the pandemic since April 2020. According to the Associated Press, at 5,593 pages, the legislation is easily the largest bill ever passed by Congress in terms of size of text. The bill was passed by both houses of Congress on December 21, 2020. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consolidated_Appropriations_Act,_2021

This is about all I have left of my parents.

Are Executive Orders the will of the people?

In a potential sign of the hurdles to come, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) sent a warning shot during one of his first floor speeches back in the minority. Republicans, he warned, were willing to work with Biden but also wouldn’t be shy about blocking bills they don’t support. Because of the 60-vote legislative filibuster, Democrats will need at least 10 GOP senators to pass most things.

A voice speaking a bit of truth.

Heather Higgins, chairwoman of the Independent Women’s Forum, suggested that the left’s current narrative of “unity” is coming across to the other side as being asked to “accept guilt” and “shut up.”

“There’s a lot of ‘we need to unify,’” Higgins told Jan Jekielek, host of The Epoch Times’ American Thought Leaders program on Jan. 20. “That’s the language now.”

But she said the unity they’re talking about is “‘you need to accept guilt for anything that we say that you need to accept guilt for,’ even if you’re not guilty; ‘you need to shut up, and you just need to go along with and comply with our point of view,’” Higgins pointed out. “Which is extremely unhealthy.” Heather Higgins: Silencing People and Forcing Them to ‘Accept Guilt’ Not the Way to Unity (theepochtimes.com)

Project Engineering: Layout new ductwork. With a variable speed compressor the temperature drop in the ducts has a much greater affect on the performance. The reason is that the forced air temp can be just a few degrees above the room temperatures. (Meaning that a few degree change becomes a large percentage of the heat/cool capacity into the room.) I’ve doubled the insulation on the 6″ ducts since they had the greatest surface area per volume of air. I’ve also doubled the long trunk line to the Master Bedroom since it’s length and the two 6″ ducts were affecting the air significantly. I encased the 8″ duct to the kitchen inside a 12″ duct. (Pretty easy actually.) and ran it to the vent over the microwave. I also encased 25 Feet of 8″ duct inside a 12″ duct for my cave yesterday. Reminds me of a really old Star Trek…

This is looking West inside my attic, I built a floor above the insulation.

Heat pump and ducts are working pretty well, I have the guest bathroom to fix. I measured the temperatures of the rooms and how they responded to the heat sent into them.

Time to put the R600 in our bedrooms on the CPAPS.

I am very angry with CF, we’ve had this long running drama about letters and I am slap wore out trying to get them to do their part.

The red boxes are months without mail. The child writes a letter every month.
