Anthony James Williams – Medium What do we do with white folks? First, white folks need to stop being so late to the game and realize that anti-Black racism is a daily experience. They need to be called out by those who won’t get shot for doing it. Second, white folks need to continue to put their physical bodies on the line during direct actions because the reality is — they are rarely killed for it. Third, white folks need to sit down and shut up if they aren’t willing to fight the good fight, because the last thing we need is another white opinion on anti-Blackness.
I’m telling white folks that if they love Black people so much, they need to show it.
Not with cultural appreciation or guilt, but by giving up their economic, social and political power. Because once we’re at a point where more white folks see these systems of oppression, what measures are in place to stop them from reneging on their empty promises to help Black people get free? White people need to redistribute their material resources, as opposed to slightly adjusting their political leanings, offering a retweet, or giving up screen-time at the Oscars. what do we do with white folks?. As I read these articles I am left to wonder “What is the Black population actually asking for, it is not equality?” It is also NOT to remove a target that they believe every Black man has on his back either. (Sounds great to increase the volume in the Social Media, but is not supported in the data.) Supporting BLM Global Network is not the way either! Reparations? It amazes me how this one subject comes up as a solution to the marginalized Black community. Has anyone looked at the winners of Lotteries, their families were destroyed with the sudden influx of money. My belief is that humans are greedy, yes all of us. I also believe that no amount of resources will ever make the Black population satisfied, even when THEY have become the oppressors.
The COVID numbers are about as low as they’ve ever been.
Narrative: I’m skipping the time bullets today. It’s really early and i’m posting to my blog. I spent the morning the usual way, having a conversation with the extended family. The afternoon was spent replacing the taillight in the blue Focus. They decided to put the taillight behind solid metal such that the bulbs don’t poke through. To change a taillight lamp you have to remove the lining of the trunk. Then remove the taillights from the car, then remove the sockets the bulbs are inserted into. Geez. Dinner was Turkey mash potatoes and veggies. Church was after that where we discussed Acts 3-4.
Feelings: As Christians we are compelled to look after the Widows and the poor. Just how we do that in this climate when there is so much energy fighting the democracy I don’t know. We were able to help a family get electricity this year! They are very grateful!
Tomorrow: Thursday
Retirement: We’ve spent 10K on an air conditioner, need to make that up.
Purchases: Conservation mode, we’re more than 3 paychecks in the hole.

Religion: We were called to read the book Crossing the Line, i am on chapter 5.
Family News: Going day by day.

Travel: Florida travel looks well out of reach!
Taxes: I need to finish them.
Pi News: Love em, but no time to play with them.
