21 Oct 2020, a day in progress

Status: Sheltering in place, we have plenty of food and supplies. We’ve installed a new Air Conditioner and there is a terrible amount of work to be accomplished. The highest priority is insulate the ducts against moisture and clean up the living room.

My experience brings to light something that belies the message of many progressive activists. I, and many others, cannot all admit to feeling the effects of institutional racism, bigotry, and white privilege. The rhetoric among many activists suggests otherwise; not only am I and other minorities victims of these oppressive functions, but we are victims of it whether we acknowledge it or not. https://blog.usejournal.com/we-need-to-stop
